This key project in the pan European corridor has achieved significant breakthroughs, laying a solid foundation for the local area to open up external transportation channels.

The Kovani Tunnel of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Kovani section of the highway, led by Chinese enterprises, has been successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the construction of the Pan European 5C corridor.

This tunnel is an important node of the Pan European 5C Corridor high-speed project, which connects Hungary, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and opens up a transportation corridor from Central and Southeast Europe to the Mediterranean. The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nelminni ć, stated that the completion of the tunnel is a crucial step in enhancing the country's transportation connectivity. Andriana Katic, the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, highly praised the technical strength and construction efficiency of Chinese enterprises.
