On September 6, 2026, Liu Haixing, Minister of the Foreign Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with Nalbayeva, Chairman of the Senate of the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan, in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Liu Haixing stated that 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Ukraine. Under the joint leadership of the two heads of state, China Ukraine relations have continued to improve and upgrade, with fruitful cooperation in various fields, creating a new golden decade. China and Ukraine have similar development goals and compatible ideologies, and have accumulated rich experience in governing the country through their respective practices. China firmly supports Uzbekistan to follow a development path that is in line with its national conditions. The CPC attaches great importance to exchanges and cooperation with Ukrainian political parties, and has established friendly relations with all parties in Uzbekistan's parliament. The CPC is willing to continue to work with Ukrainian parliamentary parties to implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, learn from each other's experience in governing the party and the country, deepen political mutual trust between the two countries, promote the docking of the development strategies of the two countries, and promote the construction of a community of common destiny between China and Uzbekistan. Faced with the turbulent international situation, China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Ukraine within multilateral frameworks such as the China Central Asia mechanism to jointly resist external risks and challenges. Liu Haixing also introduced the experience of strengthening the Party's self construction and governing and rejuvenating the country since the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.

Narbayeva warmly congratulated the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and expressed that the leaders of Ukraine and China have profound friendship, led the leapfrog development of bilateral relations, and achieved fruitful results. The Ukrainian side is willing to deeply learn and draw on China's development experience, especially poverty reduction experience, to better promote the "Uzbekistan 2030" strategy. The Senate of the Uzbek Supreme Assembly is willing to strengthen exchanges with the Chinese legislature, support political parties to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, and promote greater development of bilateral relations and practical cooperation for the benefit of the two peoples. The Ukrainian side adheres to the One China principle and is willing to work together with China to combat the three forces, strengthen coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs, and maintain regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
