As China's intelligent ships sail towards the deep blue, storms and opportunities coexist. In the new era of globalization, from individual product output to full chain layout, compliance risk control and localized operation have become mandatory courses for Chinese enterprises to establish themselves overseas. A dialogue that gathers wisdom from multiple parties is calibrating the compass for China's intelligent manufacturing of sea voyages.

On the afternoon of September 9, 2026, the 2026 Intelligent Manufacturing Enterprise Overseas High Quality Development Exchange Conference was held at Shougang Park in Beijing. As an important supporting event of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), this exchange meeting is themed on "Smart Manufacturing for Stable and Far sighted Maritime Development - Empowering Chinese Enterprises to Expand their Global Layout". It focuses on topics such as overseas compliance and market expansion, gathers multiple forces, and jointly discusses the high-quality path for China's smart manufacturing to go global.

Compliance becomes a consensus for going global

The global industrial landscape is accelerating its restructuring, and China's intelligent manufacturing is entering a new stage of going global. Compliance and sustainable development are becoming increasingly crucial. China's intelligent manufacturing has upgraded from exporting a single product to going global with a full chain, but challenges in cross-border compliance and local operations remain prominent.

Going global has become an inevitable choice for enterprise development, and localization and compliance construction cannot be ignored. The focus of competition in the field of intelligent manufacturing will shift towards technology, standards, and ecological competition, and companies need to pay attention to ESG and sustainable development construction.

Building a risk control system

Compliance and risk control are the core of stable overseas operations for enterprises. When formulating an overseas strategy, enterprises should comprehensively consider various environments in the target country and integrate global professional resources. At the industry level, three joint construction measures can be promoted, including building a national legal risk database, interpreting foreign-related regulations, and jointly building demonstration contracts to reduce legal performance risks.

Relying on our own technology and local partner network, we adhere to the concept of value symbiosis and deeply rooted in overseas markets. Based on overseas project practices, it is recommended that enterprises plan local talent development programs in advance and establish localized management mechanisms.

Overseas investment opportunities

Multiple countries' institutions in China are promoting their investment environment on site, and intelligent manufacturing is a key investment direction for each country. The representatives of Chile, Malaysia, and Germany in China introduced their respective advantageous industries, issued invitations for industrial cooperation, and welcomed Chinese enterprises to invest and layout in the local areas.
