On the shoreline of the Songyu operation area in Haicang, three large container ships docked simultaneously. Double peak superposition releases maximum berth efficiency

In August, Xiamen Port completed a container throughput of over 930000 TEUs at Xiamen Port, a year-on-year increase of over 15%, including nearly 680000 TEUs of foreign trade containers, a year-on-year increase of over 25%. The intensive operations of 8 Maersk ships have successfully concluded, with a single ship loading and unloading capacity of 18800 TEUs for the "Eli Maersk" vessel, and a cumulative unloading capacity of over 35000 TEUs for Mediterranean European vessels arriving at the port. The Haicang Joint Operation Center collects dynamic information from the entire terminal, implements a synchronous loading and unloading operation mode, schedules multiple ship windows during off peak periods, and maximizes the operational efficiency of limited berths.

Cross port collaborative cracking of operational bottlenecks

After the typhoon passed through, a large number of ships gathered at the port, and the empty container yard in a single port area tended to be saturated. The group quickly connected the resources of the two major port areas of Dongdu and Haicang, and with the collaborative support of maritime, customs, border inspection and other port units, promoted the cross regional transfer of empty containers and coordinated storage of dangerous goods containers, quickly relieving the pressure on the site.

In response to the urgent operational needs of the 150000 ton "Mediterranean Ilenia" ship, the Port Integrated Dispatch Command Center launched a 48 hour forecasting mechanism, and multiple units jointly discussed precise scheduling.
