Recently, Rafsanbek Sabirov, the Director General of the State Investment Agency directly under the President of Kyrgyzstan, held talks with representatives of 19 large Chinese companies to discuss investment projects and the introduction of modern technologies in the fields of renewable energy, artificial intelligence, machinery manufacturing, mining, and processing industries. The companies participating in the negotiations also include those that supply components and technical solutions to large international companies. From new energy to AI, from industrial manufacturing to mineral processing, Kyrgyzstan is opening its investment doors to Chinese companies with an open attitude.

Concentrated promotion in four major areas
Sabirov gave a detailed introduction to project planning in the fields of renewable energy, artificial intelligence, machinery manufacturing, mining, and processing industries to representatives of Chinese companies. Kyrgyzstan has abundant hydropower and solar energy resources, with enormous potential for new energy development. The field of artificial intelligence hopes to introduce Chinese technological solutions to promote the development of the digital economy. Mechanical manufacturing and mineral processing rely on local resource endowments, seeking cooperation in deep processing and localized manufacturing. The National Investment Agency expressed its willingness to provide support to potential investors at all stages of project implementation.

Attracting long-term investment and localizing technology
Sabirov made it clear that Kyrgyzstan intends to attract long-term investment, promote technology localization, and create new job opportunities. This is consistent with Kyrgyzstan's strategic direction of promoting economic diversification and reducing dependence on raw material exports in recent years. By introducing the technology and management experience of Chinese enterprises, Jilin hopes to establish local capabilities in the fields of new energy, artificial intelligence, and industrial manufacturing, and enhance industrial added value. Chinese business representatives have confirmed their interest in the Kyrgyzstan market, and both sides have agreed to continue negotiations on specific projects. China Enterprises Investment Central Asia Welcome Window
This promotion coincides with the release of cooperation dividends at the SCO summit, and Kyrgyzstan, as the rotating chair country, is actively attracting Chinese capital and technology. For Chinese enterprises, Kyrgyzstan's project opportunities in new energy, AI and industrial fields are highly consistent with the direction of capacity cooperation under the the Belt and Road framework. From equipment supply to technology output, from engineering contracting to localized manufacturing, the role of Chinese enterprises in the Central Asian market is upgrading from engineering contractors to long-term investment operators. The specific project progress of the follow-up negotiations between both parties deserves continuous attention.Editor/Gao Xue
