On the dispatch screen of Wuhu Intelligent Computing Center, three data points including electricity price curve, green power output, and computing power load are synchronously jumping. More than 130 computing power enterprises, such as AI short drama factories and pet intelligent hardware start-up teams, are choosing the most cost-effective electricity consumption window like watching weather forecasts.
By 2026, the scale of intelligent computing power in Wuhu city will exceed 1200PFLOPS. After the integration of the computing power collaboration platform, the average electricity cost of local computing power enterprises will decrease by 18%, and once cheap electricity is reconstructing the cost curve of the AI industry.

Computing power enterprises use electricity navigation
The power grid and computing platform establish a bidirectional data interface to share real-time information on electricity load, new energy generation, and time of use electricity prices, providing enterprises with adjustable electricity optimization solutions. Enterprises can be informed in advance of future electricity prices and the scale of green electricity supply, actively avoiding periods of high electricity prices and prioritizing the use of low-priced green electricity. At present, over 70% of the more than 130 computing power enterprises connected to the platform in Wuhu have dynamically adjusted their training task pace based on electricity price signals, and the electricity cost of some high-density computing power projects has decreased by more than 20%.
Even a small team can run an AI business
The decrease in computing power costs directly lowers the threshold for AI entrepreneurship. The AI video generation business, which previously had a monthly computing power cost of over 100000 yuan, now has a cost reduction of nearly 30%. Small and medium-sized teams can start projects without high computing power investment. From an AI content factory that produces 40 short dramas per month to a pet voice translation intelligent hardware project that can be operated by a few person team, low electricity prices are enabling more lightweight AI entrepreneurial projects to land, driving the overall leap of urban digital economy.
