Recently, the China Africa Digital Technology Cooperation Center in Binjiang, Hangzhou High tech Zone was officially opened, and the physical space of the venue and the overseas service center were put into operation simultaneously. As an important platform for national level China Africa digital cooperation, the center will build a physical carrier for policy communication, industry docking, technology implementation, and capacity cultivation, to help China's digital industry go global and empower Africa's digital transformation. From showcasing achievements to matching supply and demand, from country adaptation to enterprise training, a service channel for Chinese digital enterprises to enter Africa has been opened up.

Multi party co construction of governance architecture

The center is initiated and guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, constructed by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the People's Government of Hangzhou City, and implemented by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and the Hangzhou High tech Zone Management Committee. It will officially settle in Binjiang, Hangzhou High tech Zone in 2025. The center establishes a council, with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government as the chairman units; The International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province, and the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government are vice chairman units. At the same time, a partnership committee will be established to involve representatives from the digital regulatory departments of the Chinese and African governments and relevant international organizations, forming a collaborative mechanism of multi-party consultation, co construction, and sharing. As the operating unit, China Africa Bridge fully undertakes practical work such as venue operation and maintenance, daily operation of overseas service centers, and industrial resource docking.

Dual sector service full chain demand

The physical venue includes two core functional areas: achievement display and overseas service. The achievement display section focuses on showcasing Chinese digital technology products, solutions, and benchmark projects of China Africa cooperation, open to visiting delegations from Africa and domestic and foreign enterprises, achieving intuitive supply-demand docking. The Overseas Service Center focuses on the full chain demand of enterprises for non overseas markets, relying on the accumulation of China Africa industrial resources of the China Africa Bridge, providing one-stop services such as market consultation, supply and demand matching, business negotiation, project docking, country adaptation, enterprise training, etc., and opening up a service channel for Chinese digital enterprises to enter Africa.
