With the sound of the whistle, the SEALEGENDSHIP PINGPTELTD TIGERMAANSHAN set sail from Zhoushan Port in Ningbo. This ice enhanced LNG container ship is fully loaded with new energy cargo and has embarked on the Arctic route, launching the CAX China Europe Arctic Express. This is the first time that a clean energy container ship has sailed through the Arctic route, using low-carbon shipping to open up a new path for China Europe trade.

New Arctic Route

TIGERMAANSHAN is a reinforced LNG container ship for ice areas. This voyage connects trade nodes such as Nansha Taicang, Ningbo, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Gdynia, and Oulu, with a total sailing time of about 20 days, significantly reducing the supply chain cycle and lowering foreign trade logistics costs. Advantages of low-carbon shipping

The ship adopts LNG clean energy power, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions by more than 500 tons per voyage compared to traditional fuel, reduces carbon emissions by about 30%, and achieves zero sulfur emissions. Nitrogen oxide emissions have been reduced by about 85%, and particulate matter has decreased by over 95%. Low carbon transportation capacity can help domestic export enterprises cope with EU ETS and ESG requirements, and maintain competitiveness in overseas markets. Polar navigation support

Polar navigation requires strict requirements for ship equipment and crew capabilities. Before departure, the ship completes a special inspection of the dual fuel gas supply system, key equipment is dismantled and inspected, and crew members receive specialized training for polar navigation and have practical experience in LNG refueling.
