The exterior walls of the old warehouse in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong have completed preliminary surveys, and the scaffolding has not yet been fully erected. A transformation from industrial space to a high-end computing hub has already begun. Recently, Jiamin Group officially announced that it has raised $455 million in equity for its Hong Kong data center cooperation platform GHKDC. The funds will be fully injected into the HKG10 project in Tsuen Wan, accelerating the construction of low-carbon computing power on scarce land resources in Hong Kong.
Revitalizing scarce computing power space through stock transformation
The core investment of this fundraising is the full process electromechanical engineering and internal high-end facility construction of the HKG10 data center in Tsuen Wan. The project did not adopt the conventional demolition and reconstruction mode, but directly upgraded and renovated the existing existing warehouses of Jiamin Group, completely retaining the original building structure.

This development model directly avoids the carbon emissions caused by demolition construction and significantly reduces the additional consumption of high carbon building materials such as concrete and steel. After the project is implemented, it will not only not occupy the already tight new land quota in Hong Kong, but also transform the idle industrial space into a high-end computing power carrier to support the development of the local digital economy. According to the plan, the first phase of the project's computing power capacity will be officially put into commercial use in early 2028.
Global computing power network continues to expand
The total investment scale of GHKDC platform has stabilized at 2.7 billion US dollars, bringing together multiple top global pension funds and sovereign capital. It is currently the only private institutional investment platform in Hong Kong that focuses on the data center field. After all six data center assets of the platform are completed, the total IT installed capacity will reach 180MW, directly filling the core gap in high-end computing power supply in Hong Kong.
As of the end of June 2026, the total global data center capacity of Jiamin Group reached 6.4GW, of which 3.6GW was locked in compliant and stable capacity. The Asia Pacific regional layout focuses on core markets with scarce computing power supply, such as Hong Kong and Japan. Currently, a stable operating capacity of over 500MW has been established, and 150MW computing power projects are under construction. Ten computing power projects in eight core cities around the world are being promoted simultaneously, and a highly reliable computing power network covering the global core market is continuously taking shape.

As the industrial pipelines of old warehouses are replaced by brand new liquid cooled computing power pipelines, the digital infrastructure network connecting Hong Kong to the Asian technology hub in the mature industrial area of Tsuen Wan is becoming increasingly clear and solid.Editor/Cheng Liting
