The key coal chemical project of Ordos Laboratory has reached a milestone, and the pilot plant undertaken by LSHEC has been successfully mechanically completed, laying a solid equipment foundation for the landing of cutting-edge coal to olefin technology.

On September 18, 2026, the 1500 ton per year one-step synthesis gas production pilot plant for olefins at the Ordos laboratory, constructed by LSHEC, achieved mechanical completion. The relevant government officials of Wushen Banner, representatives of Zhongtian Hechuang Ordos Laboratory and participating units jointly attended the completion ceremony. This technology belongs to the key technology of new coal chemical industry supported by the state and was developed by the research team of Tsinghua University. LSHEC relies on its advantages in energy and chemical equipment manufacturing to complete the construction of core equipment and complete sets of equipment.

The mechanical completion of the device represents the basic completion of the main project, and the project has entered the final and cold/hot commissioning stage.
