In the cabinet room of a certain intelligent computing center in the west, thousands of AI chips are running at full speed, and on the screen of the computing power scheduling system, the real-time jumping load curve continuously refreshes the peak value. The latest industry report released on September 21st has pushed the growth curve of intelligent computing power to a new height.

The growth rate of computing power scale has significantly exceeded expectations

By 2026, the scale of China's intelligent computing power is expected to reach 2576.5 EFLOPS, with a year-on-year growth rate of 87.9%, far exceeding the industry's widely expected annual growth rate of around 50%. This value is nearly 20 times the scale of intelligent computing power in China in 2020, and the slope of the leap in computing power is continuing to rise.

By 2030, the scale of China's intelligent computing power will further exceed 10524.3EFLOPS, and the compound annual growth rate from 2025 to 2030 will be raised from the previously predicted 46.2% to 50.3%. Computing power is no longer just an ordinary information infrastructure, but is becoming a national strategic foundation on par with power grids, water conservancy, and transportation.

The industrial market has entered a high growth channel

By 2026, the size of China's artificial intelligence computing power market will reach 51.5 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 37%. The entire industry chain, including servers, high-speed networks, and liquid cooled data centers, will enter a period of performance release simultaneously. In the first half of 2026 alone, the shipment volume of domestic AI servers has exceeded the total volume of 2025, and the order schedule of top manufacturers has generally extended to the end of the fourth quarter.

By 2030, the size of China's artificial intelligence computing power market is expected to climb to $150.1 billion, with a compound annual growth rate of 31.8% from 2025 to 2030. The rapid expansion of computing power supply and demand is laying a solid foundation for cutting-edge applications such as AI big models, intelligent agents, and embodied intelligence.
