The current global development situation is complex and ever-changing, and sustainable development faces many challenges. The United Nations Industrial Development Organization celebrates its 60th anniversary, and Director General Mueller highly praised the achievements of China industry cooperation and the value of global development initiatives in an interview.

Recently, Gerd Muller, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, was interviewed by People's Daily and fully affirmed the fruitful results of the Global Development Initiative over the past five years. He believed that the initiative effectively consolidated international development consensus and helped implement the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Mueller stated that for over 40 years, China has helped over 800 million people out of poverty and achieved remarkable development achievements, making it a steadfast and important partner of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.

Both sides have deepened practical cooperation in multiple fields, implemented multiple flagship projects, and relied on innovative mechanisms such as the Three Party Cooperation Demonstration Center and Industrial Capability Center to export industrialization, digitization, and green transformation experience to developing countries.
