As the gates of the exhibition hall in Hanoi slowly opened, the photovoltaic water lifting system from Shenzhen and the embodied intelligent robot from Guangxi appeared on the same stage across mountains and seas. This grand event that gathers the attention of ASEAN manufacturing industry not only showcases China's hard core strength in intelligent manufacturing, but also quietly opens a new prelude to deep cooperation in regional green industries.

Exhibition landing in Hanoi

Recently, the 10th ASEAN International Manufacturing Trade Fair was held at the Hanoi Exhibition Center in Vietnam. In order to help enterprises expand the ASEAN market and deepen the industrial technology exchange of the the Belt and Road countries, the the Belt and Road Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen) organized Shenzhen Tianyuan New Energy and Guangxi Institute of Industry and Research's own intelligent robot companies to participate in the exhibition and connect with Vietnamese and ASEAN businessmen and industry institutions.

FBC ASEAN 2026 is jointly organized by the Vietnam Auxiliary Industries Association and NC Network Vietnam, with the theme of Connecting Manufacturing Industry - Ensuring a Green Future. The exhibition covers an area of 20000 square meters and exhibits include mechanical processing, automation, industrial robots, and more. The scale of this exhibition has expanded compared to the previous one. The industrial robot market in Vietnam has outstanding potential, with welding robots accounting for about 40% and palletizing and handling robots accounting for about 20%. The newly installed capacity is growing rapidly.

Enterprise overseas negotiation

During the exhibition, the the Belt and Road Center played a role as a bridge, coordinated the booth, and provided exhibition guarantee and precise docking services. Shenzhen Tianyuan New Energy relies on the advantages of photovoltaic water lifting technology, exchanges and researches with customers, and expands cooperation channels. Its photovoltaic water lifting system has covered more than 130 countries worldwide and has been implemented in ASEAN countries such as Vietnam and the Philippines, providing green energy solutions for agricultural irrigation and domestic water supply.

Guangxi Industrial Research Institute's Tailored Intelligent Robot Company is a new research and development institution created by Guangxi Industrial Research Institute, based in Guangxi and oriented towards ASEAN, promoting the transformation of advanced technological achievements. This is the first time for the company to participate in overseas exhibitions, focusing on the integration of robot technology with local resources in Vietnam and exploring opportunities for cooperation.

The team of the embodied intelligent robot company of Guangxi Institute of Industry and Research said that thanks to the support of the the Belt and Road Center, enterprises have participated in the exhibition overseas for the first time. This exhibition has yielded clues of intention, identified the Vietnamese robot market, and seen opportunities for palletizing and welding robots. The local market is still being cultivated. We will follow up with potential customers, optimize localized product solutions, promote project implementation, and continue to work together to explore the Vietnamese market.

The Shenzhen Tianyuan New Energy team stated that this exhibition is an important step in expanding into the ASEAN market. With the support of the center, enterprises have a deep understanding of Vietnam's agricultural irrigation and photovoltaic water conservancy needs. The demand for green and low-cost irrigation in the local area continues to rise, and companies will optimize their localization plans to promote project implementation.
