A connected garden hidden in the six townships of Suichang is about to rise to become a million kilowatt agricultural photovoltaic complementary photovoltaic base. On September 17, 2026, the environmental impact assessment of the large-scale new energy project was released to the public, and the construction plan for the Huaneng Zhejiang clean energy project officially surfaced.
Layout of photovoltaic bases in six townships
The project is invested and constructed by Huaneng Zhejiang Energy Clean Energy Branch, covering six local township gardens with a total investment of 5186042300 yuan. The project adopts the integrated development mode of agriculture and photovoltaics, and develops photovoltaic power while retaining the land for agricultural planting purposes. This can not only expand the supply of clean electricity in the region, but also drive the transformation and upgrading of industries in towns and villages along the line.

Building a power generation array with supporting equipment
The project has an installed capacity of 1491.3MW on the communication side and 1514.71894MW on the DC side. It adopts block based power generation for centralized grid connection, and all units are equipped with string inverters and centralized boost devices. The project includes 530 photovoltaic sub arrays, equipped with 2312548 655W monocrystalline silicon double-sided double glass modules, 4971 300kW string inverters, and 566 multi specification box transformers. The complete set of equipment ensures efficient and stable power generation of the power station.

Two year construction period for new energy projects
The overall construction period of the project is set at 24 months, and it is planned to start construction in December 2026 and be fully completed and put into operation in December 2028. After the completion of the project, it will significantly increase the scale of clean power output in Lishui City, optimize the energy supply structure within Zhejiang Province, and reduce pollutant emissions caused by traditional fossil energy consumption.
