The natural gas pipeline in the hinterland of Central Asia is waiting for the strong heart of China. From the coast of the Yellow Sea to the edge of the Aral Sea, Shandong Haomai's compressors roar, injecting Chinese made deep well power into Uzbekistan's energy bloodline, allowing the production capacity cooperation between the two countries to take root in the Gobi oil region.

Recently, Shandong Himile Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. held talks with Uzbekneftegaz to discuss the joint implementation of the project and the supply of compressor equipment. Uzbekneftegaz introduced that the two sides communicated about the progress of ongoing projects, equipment delivery arrangements, and future cooperation expansion directions, with a focus on discussing the supply of compressor equipment for the wellhead compressor stations of large-scale oil and gas facilities in Mubarak and Gazli.

Order landing equipment orderly production

According to the contract signed in April 2026, Shandong Himile Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will provide 35 sets of reciprocating compressor units for 12 wellhead compressor stations in Wufang. As of September 30, 2026, 23 compressors have been manufactured, 17 have undergone inspection and testing, and 14 devices have been sent to Wufang. The first unit has been delivered to the Zewalda gas field construction site under the Mubarak oil and gas facility.

Uzbekistan's National Oil and Gas Company stated that the relevant facilities have been put into operation as scheduled, which is of great significance for stabilizing the country's natural gas production. Building local services

Both parties also discussed the plan for Shandong Himile to establish a representative office and service center in Uzbekistan. After the establishment of this institution, it can provide long-term technical maintenance and rapid supply of spare parts for Chinese enterprises, while promoting the exchange of technical personnel between the two countries. Both parties have reached a consensus to continue advancing existing projects under construction and explore more opportunities for cooperation in the oil and gas sector in Uzbekistan.Editor/Gong Ziwei
