On October 12, 2026, the cement plant on the outskirts of Tashkent was still emitting waste heat, and the technicians from China National Materials Energy Conservation had just received the thermal calibration data; At the same time, in the gas turbine power station in Ghana, West Africa, operation and maintenance personnel are checking the next batch of spare parts list. A energy-saving service chain from Central Asia to Africa is quietly being linked in the hands of Chinese companies.

Uzbekistan won the bid for the general contractor

On October 12, 2026, Sinoma Energy Conservation won the bid for the Uzbekistan RECOM cement waste heat power generation general contracting project. The project covers the entire chain of system design, equipment assembly, civil construction, installation and commissioning, delivery and operation. After completion, it can reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions for cement production lines. The energy-saving team of Sinoma has already taken root on site to carry out thermal calibration of the clinker line in the early stage. The next step will be to promote construction and create an energy-saving model for the Central Asian cement industry. The project is currently in the bidding stage and has not officially signed a contract to start construction. The amount and duration have not been disclosed.

Ghana extends spare parts contract

Sinoma Energy Conservation signed a contract for bulk spare parts for gas turbine combined cycle power plants with Ghana GECS Company. Previously, Sinoma Energy Conservation built four 5 × 22MW gas turbine waste heat power plants for GECS and signed a ten-year operation and maintenance agreement; Signing the spare parts contract again this time means a long-term cooperation between both parties, from building power stations to managing power stations and supplying spare parts. The contract has been signed but the amount has not been disclosed, which will become a lever for China National Materials Energy Conservation to deepen its cultivation of the West African energy market. Chinese energy-saving merchants from construction to service

Behind the breakthrough of Sinoma Energy Saving's dual line, there is a change in the logic of Chinese energy-saving enterprises going global: the Central Asian side has upgraded from technical services to complete sets of general contracting, and the African side has extended from engineering construction to stock operation and maintenance. EPC general contracting, long-term operation and maintenance, and spare parts supply are rolled into a closed loop. Chinese enterprises are no longer only turnkey builders in the the Belt and Road market, but long-term service partners who have accompanied for ten years. Sinoma Energy Conservation has undertaken nearly 500 waste heat power generation projects in more than 40 countries worldwide, and its full cycle service capability is becoming a watershed for going global.Editor/Gao Xue
