In the next three years, Kazakhstan plans to build nearly 2500 kilometers of railways. Over the past five years, the country has built approximately 5000 kilometers of railways. At the same time, the modernization of existing railway lines and the improvement of the cargo traffic capacity of China Kazakhstan border railway stations are also being continuously promoted.

In order to expand international cargo transportation volume, Kazakhstan is enhancing the cargo throughput capacity of railway stations along the China Kazakhstan border. One of the key projects is the construction of the Bakt Ayaguz railway. After the completion of the project, a new railway transit channel will be opened between Kazakhstan and China.

We are vigorously promoting the expansion of railway stations along the China Kazakhstan border to improve the international freight capacity. In addition, a new railway in the direction of Bakt Ayaguz is also under construction. In the future, this route will add a railway transit channel between Kazakhstan and China.

Constructing new railway lines and modernizing existing infrastructure with the aim of further enhancing Kazakhstan's transit transportation capacity. The addition of a transit channel between Kazakhstan and China will help alleviate the pressure on international cargo transportation and further improve transportation capacity.

It is worth mentioning that the TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 International Exhibition will be held from October 14th to 16th at the Astana EXPO International Exhibition Center. This year, 230 companies from 20 countries participated in the exhibition.
