Astana in October has already shown signs of coldness, but the AI&Digital Bridge 2026 forum is still bustling with activity. A seemingly ordinary transparent screen was surrounded by people: someone asked a question in Chinese, and the screen almost simultaneously provided translations in Kazakh and Uzbek; The digital person not far away raised his arm and introduced the business in fluent local language, able to distinguish the expressions and gestures of the visitors. The person who brought this product is iFLYTEK from China.

Connect 101 languages on one screen

Central Asia is multi-ethnic and multilingual, with frequent cross-border personnel exchanges, and language has always been the most realistic threshold for public services. The AI Translation Screen Lite exhibited this time is aimed at this threshold, targeting public places such as airports, customs, subway stations, government halls, banks, scenic spots, etc. It supports real-time translation between 101 languages including Chinese, English, Kazakh, and Uzbek. The GuideX digital human intelligent agent, which shares the same platform, has voice, facial expressions, gestures, and spatial perception capabilities, supports more than 30 languages, and can be applied in fields such as government services, transportation, telecommunications, and postal services.

Digital people enter the postal hall

During the forum, iFLYTEK Open Platform signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan Postal Corporation to jointly explore the implementation of digital human, voice technology, and artificial intelligence customer service solutions in postal outlets, covering scenarios such as navigation, business consulting, and service guidance. As a postal and comprehensive service provider covering the whole country, Kazpost has over 2500 branches and covers 99% of the country's territory. Its cross-border parcel business is growing rapidly, and the manpower and language pressure of window services are particularly prominent. This is precisely the best training ground for digital people.

The large model has settled down locally

Another collaboration points deeper. The agreement signed with the Institute of Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence at Nazarbayev University covers Kazakh language and multilingual artificial intelligence, speech technology, big language models, intelligent agent development, joint scientific research, and professional talent cultivation. On the enterprise level side, MaaS Platform provides multiple basic models and model adaptation, evaluation, intelligent agent development, and application deployment capabilities through a unified interface; All in One Solutions supports deploying models, computing power, and applications on local infrastructure to meet data security and localized management needs; Agentic Customer Service is used to build intelligent customer service and knowledge base management; AINOTE combines e-ink handwriting with multilingual speech to text, serving meeting recording and daily office work. On the spatial side, WallEX based on SpaceMind technology can collaboratively manage smart home, hotel, and commercial equipment. Nurmina smart lighting fixtures can adjust lighting according to user intentions and are currently being tested locally with Damutech Group LLP in Kazakhstan.

Since holding a product promotion event for the Central Asian market in Tashkent in July this year and setting up a regional office, iFLYTEK's path has become increasingly clear: to deeply cultivate the region with localized operations, teams, and products, and to jointly build a digital industry ecosystem with Central Asian partners.Editor/Yang Meiling
