In Dubai in October, tower cranes line both sides of Sheikh Zayed Road. On a plot of land not far from the Future Museum, preparations are underway intensively, and a circular shaped corporate headquarters will grow here. On October 19, 2026, an agreement was signed at the headquarters of China Construction Middle East Company to tightly link this land with Chinese construction forces. CSCEC ME Chairman Tian Sanchuan held talks with visiting CCFGC Chairman Zuo Qiang to have in-depth discussions on the Dubai Holdings headquarters building and the Dubai Jumeirah Emirates Tower high-end residential project, and jointly signed a project close joint venture agreement.

Old partner holding hands again

This is not the first handshake between the two companies. CCFGC and CSCEC ME have a deep partnership and have jointly built multiple high-quality projects in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. The Kuwait University City covers an area of approximately 6 million square meters, and the two parties have formed a project team consisting of 14 national employees to undertake the construction tasks of 33 individual buildings and 7 outdoor projects, covering an area of 528000 square meters; The Ajman Mochas Commercial Center in the United Arab Emirates has become a commercial complex radiating to the northern Emirate. Zuo Qiang expressed his expectation that this cooperation will be a new starting point, fully leveraging the advantages of CCFGC's entire industry chain, integrating high-quality domestic resources, and promoting project implementation with high standards and quality under the overall guidance of CSCEC ME.

Two heavyweight projects

The two projects that we are holding hands on this time are full of weight. In September of this year, CSCEC ME officially signed two major project construction contracts with Dubai Holdings Group, with a contract amount of 5 billion dirhams, equivalent to approximately 9.1 billion yuan, making it the largest single construction contract awarded by Dubai Holdings since its establishment. Both projects are located in the core business district of Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The former is the headquarters of Dubai Holding Group and was designed by an internationally renowned firm. It adopts a circular shape and revolves around a central open atrium and landscape courtyard, reducing the traditional separation between the core tube and the long corridor, and taking into account natural lighting, ventilation, and shading; The latter consists of two high-end residential towers, standing adjacent to the Burj Khalifa and the Museum of the Future. Handing over such landmarks to a close consortium tests the ability to collaborate throughout the entire process.

From individual to collaborative

CSCEC ME has been deeply involved in the Middle East market for more than 20 years, starting from the initial Palm Island villa project department. Nowadays, its business covers six Gulf countries and surrounding areas, and has undertaken 139 national livelihood projects, driving employment for about 350000 people in the local area. On average, one out of every 34 people in Dubai lives in houses built by CSCEC ME. Tian Sanchuan expressed the hope that both sides can leverage the advantages of China Construction Middle East in regional market operation, high-end resources, and project coordination management, combined with CCFGC's professional capabilities and resource advantages, deepen practical cooperation around project performance planning, professional collaboration, and talent exchange, strengthen the overall process coordination of the project, and effectively improve the quality and efficiency of performance. Zuo Qiang said that this cooperation is a concrete practice of the group's internal collaboration to go to sea and promote the high-quality development of the the Belt and Road. He expected to strengthen professional collaboration and resource linkage based on their respective advantages.keywords:Engineering infrastructure
