Fast transit time at the port

On November 3, 2026, it was learned from China Railway Hohhot Group Co., Ltd. that a train loaded with car parts and daily necessities departed from the Erenhot railway port to Europe on that day, and the traffic volume of the China Railway Express has exceeded 4000 trains since the beginning of this year. Erenhot is the only entry and exit port in the China Europe freight train corridor. The train needs to change its equipment and undergo inspection here, with multiple links and tight time constraints. Since the beginning of this year, the railway department has continued to make efforts in cross-border logistics efficiency and radiation capacity, deepening the integrated organizational model of two border stations, dynamically sharing the traffic structure and station inventory of the two stations through daily dialogue and monthly meetings, and opening up green channels for inbound and outbound trains, enabling fast and efficient transportation between ports. The efficiency has been improved, the train's stay at the port has been shortened, and the confidence of the channel is sufficient.

There are new faces on the bill of lading

The route is also quietly heading towards the foreign minister. The number of China Europe freight train lines operating through the Erenhot railway port has reached 76, connecting more than 70 hub stations in more than 10 countries such as Germany and Poland. The radiation surface of the channel is getting wider year by year. The goods in the carriage have also changed their appearance, with imports mainly consisting of sheet metal, kraft paper, and aluminum ingots, and exports covering new energy vehicles, household appliances, and daily necessities. The proportion of high value-added and high-tech products has steadily increased. As of November 2nd, the China Europe freight trains passing through this port transported 3.902 million tons of goods within the year, a year-on-year increase of 24.6%.
