On July 9, 2020, the Sino-Swiss Weifei Marine Equipment Headquarters project started in the West Coast New District of Qingdao.

The project is located in Qingdao Ocean Vitality Zone and was jointly established by Qingdao Ruiyuan Group and Shandong Kerui Holding Group. The project will carry out fluid control technology development services in the field of oil and gas energy, R&D and manufacturing of high-end equipment in the offshore oil and gas field, and industry-integrated solutions and other related technical services, forming a complete industrial chain that integrates R&D, production, sales, and service of high-end offshore oil equipment. Create a world-class deep-sea oil and gas equipment supplier and marine economic headquarters base. It is understood that in terms of R&D, the project will integrate high-end offshore oil equipment of related enterprises in the offshore equipment manufacturing sector and build a key laboratory for offshore engineering in Shandong Province. In terms of production, 3,000-4,000 sets of high-end marine oil and gas production equipment will be produced annually, with an estimated output value of 1 billion yuan/year.

It is reported that Qingdao Ocean Vitality Zone aims at "a modern and new central vitality zone with unique marine culture characteristics", and focuses on creating a smart pilot zone for marine innovation and development, as well as the headquarters of international economic and trade cooperation institutions in accordance with the concept of "openness, modernity, vitality, and fashion". District, the core business district of Northeast Asia Shipping Center, the regional financial and trade innovation demonstration zone, the heart of the modern coastal city's vitality and fashion, the construction of a blue international city hall north of the Yangtze River radiating Northeast Asia and a new headquarters economic center with the most marine vitality . Since the start of construction in 2019, the Ocean Vitality District has completed a total investment of more than 11 billion yuan and introduced 18 projects in the headquarters, with a total investment of more than 70 billion yuan.
