In the past three years, Yongchuan has invested a total of 15.77 billion yuan in transportation construction, with an average annual investment of nearly 5.3 billion yuan, setting a record high in Yongchuan's transportation investment. Among them, Yongchuan actively strives for 2.42 billion yuan in superior funds and 2.05 billion yuan in district-level supporting funds through "two eyes upward", and raises 11.3 billion yuan in social capital investment through PPP and other methods.

In the past three years, Yongchuan District has placed transportation construction in a strategic position, further strengthened the basic and leading functions of transportation in serving local economic and social development, and promoted the comprehensive development of "road, rail, water and air" three-dimensional transportation.

The Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail has been integrated into the national high-speed passenger transport network, and has direct access to major cities such as Bei, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Tianjin. The passenger flow of Yongchuan East Station has been rising steadily. In 2019, 5.212 million passengers arrived, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%. The construction of the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway has started, and the formation of a "one vertical and one horizontal" high-speed rail dual channel has been accelerated.

Jiuyong Expressway was completed and opened to traffic, and Yonglu Expressway was completed within this year. It is estimated that the expressway mileage in the whole area will reach 133 kilometers by the end of the year, an increase of 42 kilometers from 2015. The highway skeleton has been expanded from a "ten" shape to "one ring and six shots". Become the first district in the city to have a highway ring road outside the main city. The capacity expansion of Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway, Jiangjin-Yongchuan-Luzhou North Line, Yongchuan-Bishan, Yongchuan-Jiangjin Expressway projects have all been included in the municipal planning plate.

In 3 years, 378.8 kilometers of ordinary national and provincial highways were renovated, and the total length of roads in the region reached 4919.5 kilometers, and the highway density was 312.15 kilometers/100 square kilometers. The proportion of national highways above grade 2 and provincial highways above grade 3 accounted for 100%, ranking first in western Chongqing.

The preliminary work of the Zhutuo operation area of Yongchuan Port has been accelerated. It is planned to build 5 berths and increase the annual throughput capacity of 5.5 million tons. Da'an General Airport successfully flew for the first time on November 28, 2019 and was officially put into use. It will become an important platform to promote the development of the general aviation industry in the city.

In 3 years, Yongchuan has completed the construction of 2,384 kilometers of "Four Good Rural Roads", 259 kilometers exceeding the plan. Among them, 22 important rural roads with a total length of 126 kilometers connecting industries, scenic spots and exit channels will be constructed.

Through the three-year action plan for transportation construction, the rural areas of Yongchuan District have changed from “no road” to “existing road”, from “bad road” to “good road”, and the traffic flow rate of villager groups is 100%, and the traffic rate of administrative villages is 100%. It has become a veritable "road to poverty alleviation", "road to industry", "road to wealth" and "road to happiness".
