Towards the end of the year, with the gradual drop in temperature and the end of projects in various places, good news came every day when the high-speed project was completed and opened to traffic. Recently, the Yaoshan-Luanchuan section of Zhengxi Expressway and the Qujing section of Xundian-Zhanyi Expressway, which were built by the Third Public Administration of China Communications Commission, have been completed and opened to traffic.
Section from Yaoshan to Luanchuan of Zhengxi Expressway
On December 26, 2020, the opening ceremony of the Yaoluan section of the Taihui Expressway, Jiluoxi Expressway and Zhengxi Expressway in Henan Province was held at the Miaozi junction of Yaoluan Section.
The section from Yaoshan to Luanchuan of Zhengxi Expressway is known as one of the "most beautiful expressways" in Henan. The opening of this expressway will vigorously promote the economic and social development of the metropolitan area centered on Luoyang, and "bead the rich natural and cultural landscapes along the line." Accelerate the development of tourism resources, mineral resources, and agricultural and sideline products along the route; at the same time, speed up the development of the three counties of Lushan, Songxian and Luanchuan in the contiguous and extremely poor areas of western Henan’s mountainous area from poverty and promote the economic development along the route, and complete the construction at the same time. A well-off society has great value and significance.

The Yao-Luan section of Zhengxi Expressway starts from Zhengyao Expressway, ends at Luoyang-Luanchuan Expressway, and Luanchuan-Xixia Expressway under construction. It has a total length of 78.8 kilometers, two-way four-lane, designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour, maximum altitude of 1280 meters, passing Many 5A-level scenic spots such as Yaoshan Mountain and Baiyun Mountain are called "the most beautiful expressway" and "Yunzhong Expressway". The four-standard civil engineering route undertaken by China Communications No. 3 Bureau has a total length of 18.9 kilometers, which mainly includes 1.171 million square meters of subgrade excavation, 1.821 million square meters of subgrade filling, 23 bridges, and approximately 270,000 square meters of stable road surface.
Qujing Section of Xundian-Zhanyi Expressway
On December 28, 2020, Xunzhan Expressway (Qujing Section) was officially opened to traffic. The completion of the expressway is of great significance for improving the expressway network in Yunnan Province, promoting the coordinated economic and social development of central Yunnan, strengthening the economic and cultural exchanges between Xundian and Zhanyi counties, accelerating regional opening up and helping rural revitalization.
The project is located in Qujing, Yunnan, with a total length of 9.746 kilometers. The project covers roadbed, bridge and culvert projects. Among them, Dexi Bridge is a key control project of Xunzhan Expressway. The Qujing section is mostly high-liquid-limit red clay, with variable geological conditions and lack of regional materials. The bridge-to-tunnel ratio is as high as 45%. It is the project with the largest bridge-to-tunnel ratio and the most complex construction conditions in the Qujing expressway construction project.

The construction of the project is at the boundary of a provincial nature reserve. In the construction and production, adhere to the construction concept of "maximum protection, minimum impact, strongest recovery", strictly implement the protection measures of "excavation level one, protection level one", and strictly require the construction site and temporary resident to follow the ecological environment The construction is based on the principle of protection, which protects the ecological environment along the project to the greatest extent.
The construction of the two highways has brought a lot of jobs and employment opportunities for surrounding residents. The completion and opening to traffic not only improve the travel conditions for residents along the route, but also improve the regional transportation network. Editor/Peng Xue
