At 9:16 on January 22, 2021, with the G913 train from Beijing Chaoyang to Harbin West leaving Beijing Chaoyang Station, this marked the official opening of the Beijing-Chengde section of the Beijing-Harbin high-speed rail and the completion of the Beijing-Harbin high-speed rail. It is understood that Beijing can reach Shenyang and Harbin in 2 hours 44 minutes and 4 hours 52 minutes at the fastest. So far, China's high-speed rail mileage has increased to 39,100 kilometers, continuing to rank first in the world!

Beijing-Harbin High-speed Railway Project

The Beijing-Chengde section opened this time is 192 kilometers long, with 7 stations in Beijing Chaoyang, Shunyi West, Huairou South, Miyun, Xinglong County West, Anjiang, and Chengde South. The shortest time from Beijing Chaoyang Station to Xinglong West Station is 37 minutes, and the shortest time to Chengde South Station is 52 minutes.

On the first day of operation, the Beijing-Chengdu section of the Beijing-Harbin High-speed Railway is scheduled to operate 10.5 pairs of mobile trains. In the future, 12 pairs of mobile trains will be used every day. 28 pairs are planned to be operated after the full map runs. The initial operation speed is 300 kilometers per hour.

After the Beijing-Chengdu section of the Beijing-Harbin high-speed rail is opened for operation, the most frost-resistant member of the Fuxing family: the 350 km/h CR400AF-G Fuxing high-cold EMU will be put into operation at the same time.

The Beijing-Harbin high-speed railway is an important part of the Beijing-Harbin-Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao corridor of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. Its full line is open to traffic and a new high-speed rail corridor for entry and exit in the northeast region will greatly facilitate the people in Northeast and North China.
