Wuxi Metro Line 5 Project

On February 25, 2021, the Xishi Municipal Public Resources Trading Center issued the pre-winning announcement of the overall project design of Wuxi Metro Line 5, and China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. won the bid for the project.

The tentative main line of Wuxi Metro Line 5 project is about 34.5km long, with 27 stations, one depot parking lot, two main substations, and the shared use of the Wuxi Metro Line Network Control Center.

S2 Line Project of Wuxi-Yixing City Railway

On February 24, 2021, the Xishi Municipal Public Resources Trading Center issued an announcement on the pre-winning bid of the Wuxi-Yixing Intercity Rail Transit Engineering Design General Contract Project. China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. won the bid for the project.

The tentative main line of the Wuxi-Yixing Intercity Rail Transit Project has a total length of about 58.9km, with a total of 9 stations, with an average distance of 7.36km, one depot, two main substations, and one control center.

Wuxi Metro Line 4 Phase II

On February 25, 2021, the Xishi Municipal Public Resources Trading Center announced the results of the pre-winning bid for the second phase of Wuxi Metro Line 4, and Guangzhou Metro Design Institute Co., Ltd. won the bid for technical consultation and related supporting accessories for the project and the overall design Turnkey project.

The second phase of Wuxi Metro Line 4 is about 19km long. It starts from Gonghu Avenue Station, the terminus of the first phase of Taihu New Town Line 4, and is laid along the Zhenze Route from west to east. After that, the line passes through the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and turns to the northeast to continue along Xinhua Road. Go ahead and finally connect to Line 2 Yingyuehu Park Station. There are 11 stations on the whole line.
