On March 24, 2021, it was learned from the Dehong State Public Resources Trading Center that the Ruili-Nongdao Expressway construction project won the bid and was announced by Yunnan Communications Investment and Construction Group Co., Ltd., Yunnan Communications Investment Group Investment Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Communications Investment Group. The consortium consisting of Yunling Construction Co., Ltd., Yunnan Communications Investment Group Highway Construction Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Transportation Research Institute Co., Ltd. won the bid. The total investment of the project is estimated at 3.4 billion yuan.
Overview of Yunnan Ruili-Nongdao Expressway Project
The construction site is located in Dehong Prefecture and Ruili City, Yunnan Province. The project is generally reconstructed and expanded along the secondary road of the Longrui Expressway Nongdao Connection Line. The whole line is located in Ruili City, Dehong Prefecture. The starting point of the route K0+000 is located in Hede Village, Mengmao Town, Ruili City, and is connected to Longrui Expressway. Highway, a new section of K0+000~K8+600 of about 8.6 kilometers will be built on the north side of Ruili City’s urban planning area. After bypassing the urban planning area, the existing secondary roads will be broadened, rebuilt and expanded at K8+600. Xiancun, Mangyo, Bandong, Jingkan, Nongmore, stop at Leiyun Village, Nongdao Town, and connect to the existing roads of the same passage in the Nongdao area of China and Myanmar. The main line of the project is 30.259 kilometers in length, all located in Ruili City, Dehong Prefecture. A total of 31 bridges were set up across the line with a bridge length of 5,906 meters, including 11 bridges of 4,880 meters and 20 middle bridges with a total of 1,026 meters; there were no tunnels on the entire line; the bridge-tunnel ratio was 19.52%.
A total of 2 interchanges, 9 separated interchanges, 18 culvert passages, and 6 pedestrian bridges are set up across the project. Set up 1 comprehensive service area, 3 toll stations, 1 traffic police management station, road administration management station, and border inspection station. The design width of the roadbed is 25.5 meters, the construction of the full-line two-way four-lane, the design speed is 80 km/h. The construction content and scale of this project are ultimately subject to the preliminary design approved.
According to the work permit report, the average cost of this project is RMB 113,207,300 per kilometer. The project adopts two-way four-lane expressway standard construction, with a design speed of 80 km/h and a roadbed design width of 25.5 meters. The construction of the project not only improves the urbanization development and industrial layout of the urban economic circle, but also provides a strong impetus for the realization of economic and social development by leaps and bounds.
