On April 23, the Yunnan Provincial Public Resources Trading Platform Center announced the winning candidates for the "Yingjiang-Taiping (Sydney) Expressway Survey and Design Bidding". Guangxi Transportation Design Group Co., Ltd. topped the list.
The Yingjiang-Taiping (Sydney) Expressway is located in Yingjiang County, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The starting point of the project goes north through Tengchong-Longchuan Expressway, Tengchong-Houqiao Expressway to Houqiao Port, and enters Myitkyina, Myanmar, and the end point extends to Bhamo, Myanmar and enters Mandalay.
The Yingjiang-Taiping (Sydney) Expressway has a total length of 56.585km, 52 bridges, and a length of 23,238 meters. There are 129 culverts. Set up 5 tunnels with a total length of 6,650 meters. Set up 5 interchanges (including 1 hub-type interchange and 4 floor-to-ground interchanges). This project has three connecting lines, of which the Yingjiang North Interchange Connecting Line is 2.173km, according to the first-class highway standard; the Mangyun Interchange Connecting Line and the Tiger Leaping Stone Interconnecting Line are 10.72km in length. According to the second-class highway standard, the estimated total cost is 88.04 100 million yuan.
