At the beginning of its establishment in 2005, the China Railway Construction Electrification Bureau Group put forward the business strategy of “strengthening the four main businesses and extending the metro and urban rails”. They rationally lay out 5 business areas across the country, and the group headquarters is responsible for the main attack. Engineering companies assisted, of which four companies assisted the South China regional market. In 2014, the four companies successfully entered the urban rail market in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area by winning the bid for the installation of the power supply system in the southern extension of Guangzhou Rail Transit Line 4. The application of BIM technology in this project has changed the way of power supply equipment installation and cable laying in the traditional construction process, using the model as a carrier to realize the digitization of equipment installation and cable laying, and improve the level of refined construction management. During the construction process, the four companies won 2 utility model invention patents and 1 provincial and ministerial QC achievement. After the completion of the project, it has not only created good conditions for the economic take-off of Nansha, but also laid a solid foundation for the four companies to expand in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
In 2016, the four companies successively won the bids for the installation project of the signal and weak current system of Guangzhou Rail Transit Line 9 Qingtang Station and the first phase of the weak current system installation project of Line 14. Among them, Line 14 is the longest line in the viaduct section of the Guangzhou Metro, and it is also the first metro line in the Guangdong region with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. This project is the first large-scale and long-distance construction using prefabricated segments to assemble a continuous steel structure, which has higher requirements for construction technology, safety and quality. Through scientific organization and meticulous construction, the project department completed the construction tasks in a safe, high-quality and efficient manner, and was awarded the honorary title of "2017 Construction Business Model" by Guangzhou Metro Group. After the opening of the line, the goal of all 11 districts of Guangzhou city to be connected to the subway has been realized, which has played a positive role in promoting the interconnection between the central city of Guangzhou and the suburbs of Conghua.

Rolling operation to promote development Relying on the good reputation accumulated in the construction of the three subway lines, new projects are coming in one after another. Since 2014, the four companies have successively participated in the construction of Guangzhou Urban Rail Transit Line 4, Line 9, Line 14, Line 18, Line 21, Guangfo Ring Line, Shenzhen Metro Line 5, Line 9, and Line 16. Line, Line 20, Video Surveillance and Emergency Command Center, Network Operation Control Center (NOCC) Project OCC migration and access, fully automatic operation engineering test center, Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen Intercity Rail Transit from Shenzhen Airport to Qianhai Section Engineering and many other projects.

Among them, the Guangzhou-Foshan Intercity Railway is located in the central area of the "one-hour economic circle" in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is an important link in the "three rings and eight shots" network of intercity rail in the Pearl River Delta, with a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour. During the construction, the four companies adhered to the high-standard molding of the main project, and took the lead in the transformation and application of the two QC achievements of the independently developed "intelligent ballastless bed drilling equipment" and "communications room cabinet integral base". The project department has won 5 national utility model patents. At the same time, it won the first place in the credit evaluation of the Pearl River Delta Intercity Corporation in the second half of 2019, and won the honorary title of "Engineering Construction Standard Chemical Land" and other honorary titles.

Shenzhen Rail Transit Network Operation Control Center (NOCC) is known as the "brain" of Shenzhen Metro. It is the core department of Shenzhen's rail transit network operation and management. It is mainly used to meet the needs of resource sharing and information integration. The NOCC project is of great significance for improving the efficiency of rail transit operations, ensuring operational safety, and improving emergency response capabilities. The four companies won the bid for the NOCC system at the end of 2018, and integrated the line operation and monitoring of Shenzhen Metro Line 1 to Line 5 in a networked manner. In the future, it will meet the network operation and management of up to 32 lines, which will be the follow-up nationwide subway system. The relocation and renovation of the existing cable control center, the construction of new network lines, and the construction of an intensive unified management platform provide examples that can be used for reference.

Shenzhen Metro Line 5 and Line 9 are all underground lines, which are standard model projects for the subway market of the four companies. During the construction, when civil construction and track laying were seriously lagging behind, the four companies adopted technical means such as trackless construction and pre-embedded anchor bolts in advance to ensure that the project nodes were fulfilled in advance. The project has won the Shenzhen Metro Group's 2018 and 2019 "Excellent Track and System Equipment Construction Bid Section", "Guarantee Opening Outstanding Contribution Unit" and other honors, and has received multiple awards issued by Shenzhen Metro Group. After the opening of the line, it has greatly improved the traffic and travel conditions in the Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone, accelerated the communication between the Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone and the downtown area, and helped the economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Shenzhen Metro Line 20 and Guangzhou Metro Line 18 are subway projects under construction by the four companies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and are expected to be opened within this year. The hot-slip tests have been completed and they have entered the stage of joint debugging and joint testing. Guangzhou Metro Line 18 is the fastest subway under construction in China. The project department implements a "model-led" management mode. In order to improve construction efficiency, they start with improving the tooling process, using the full application of BIM technology and implementing factory prefabrication to promote assembly The in-depth integration of integrated installation and the intelligent system of the Internet of Things led to the opening of a new “one-stop” service model for electromechanical intelligent assembly, which won high recognition and praise from the owners. During the "May 1st" period of this year, the project department carried out the "Learning Party History and Doing Practical Affairs" activities, which set off a climax of construction and broadcast it on the CCTV News Channel. The project department has repeatedly won the company's "Excellent Party Branch", "Excellent Youth League Branch", and "March 8th Red Flag Collective" and other honorary titles. In 2020, it won the second prize in the China Railway Construction "Ying Chuang Cup" Guangzhou Metro Project Youth Innovation Achievement Competition.
