Recently, Energy China Zhejiang Thermal Power signed a PC general contract project for 3 sets of 380 MW coal-fired power stations in Laporta Power Plant in the Morovali Industrial Park, Indonesia, with a contract value of approximately 1.958 billion yuan.

The project is located in the Morovali Industrial Park in the central part of Sulawesi, Indonesia. It will construct 3 sets of 380MW supercritical primary reheating condensing coal-fired generating units, and the 3 units are respectively Laporta Power Plant No. 4 , Unit 5 and Unit 6. Zhejiang Thermal Power is mainly responsible for the procurement, construction and installation of three units (except the main engine).

Moravali Industrial Park is mainly for the nickel processing and smelting industry. The park covers an area of more than 3,200 hectares. It has become a stainless steel production base with the world’s longest and most complete industrial chain, with an annual output of 2.5 million tons of nickel-iron and 3 million tons of stainless steel. . After the completion of the project, it will effectively alleviate the current situation of electricity shortage in the Morovali Industrial Park, and it is also of great significance to promote economic cooperation between China and Indonesia, and China and ASEAN.
