It is understood that the Xi'an-Yan'an high-speed railway is located in Guanzhong and northern Shaanxi, and is an important part of the national high-speed railway network "eight vertical and eight horizontal" Baohai passage, and is a part of the "m"-shaped high-speed railway network running through Shaanxi Province. , the design speed target value is 350 km/h, and the access time from Yan'an to Xi'an will be shortened to 1 hour after completion. The construction of the Xiyan high-speed railway is of great significance for our city to build a regional comprehensive transportation hub node city, further expand foreign cooperation and exchanges, promote the optimization of industrial structure, and promote the high-quality economic development of Yan'an.

According to reports, the Xiyan high-speed railway line leads from Xi'an East Station, passes through Xi'an City, Weinan City, Tongchuan City, Yan'an City (a total of 4 cities and 19 districts and counties) to the north, and introduces the existing Yan'an Station. The main line is 299.778 kilometers long. Construction The construction period is four and a half years, and it is planned to open for operation on October 31, 2025. On January 9, 2020, the construction of the new Yan'an Tunnel, a control project, began, and the Xiyan High-speed Railway Project completed an annual investment of 900 million yuan; in May 2021, the construction of 5 counties, districts and 7 tender sections in our city started and completed. The investment is 2.219 billion yuan; in 2022, the city is expected to invest 4 billion yuan, and the overall project is progressing smoothly.
