On July 14, 2022, the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Transportation issued a tender announcement for the construction of the housing construction project of the reconstruction and expansion project of the G45 Daguang Expressway from Ji'an to Nankang. Project Overview

The reconstruction and expansion project of the Ji’an-Nankang section of G45 Daguang Expressway starts from the direction of Wuning, north of Ji’an South Hub, Jizhou District, Ji’an City. The starting point is K2872+500. The intercommunication location of the Shibatang hub in Nankang District, Ganzhou City, is connected to the starting point of the expansion project of the Nankang-Longnan section of the G45 Daqing-Guangzhou Expressway. The route passes through Jizhou District of Ji'an City, Ji'an County, Taihe County, Wan'an County, Suichuan County and Nankang District of Ganzhou City. The total length of the route is 145.4 kilometers.

The entire line of the project adopts the two-way eight-lane expressway standard with a design speed of 100 km/h; the main body adopts the expansion method of widening on both sides, and the method of single-side widening or near-end separation is adopted in the difficult terrain. The width of the double-sided widened roadbed is 41 meters, the width of the one-sided widened roadbed is 47 meters, and the width of the newly-built roadbed is 20.5 meters. The pavement structure is asphalt concrete pavement; the vehicle load is highway-I grade; the design flood frequency of bridges, culverts and roadbeds are 1/100; the navigation grades are VI, VII and VIII; , monitoring, communication, charging, power supply, lighting and services and other traffic engineering and facilities along the line.
