Recently, I got news from the Hanzhong Public Resource Trading Center that the G345 National Highway and G108 National Highway in the Hanzhong City area will start the re-routing project, which means that a new road will be planned in Hanzhong.

Project planning

The Kina Line is numbered as G345 National Road. The road starts from Qidong City, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, and ends in Nagqu City, Tibet Autonomous Region. It runs east-west with a total mileage of about 750 kilometers. The G345 route passes through southern Shaanxi, and in Hanzhong City, it mainly passes through 5 counties of Yang County, Mian County, Chenggu County, Hantai District and Lueyang County.

The status quo of G345 starts in Daheba Town, Foping City in Hanzhong City, and shares the same line with G108 in Xichahe Town, connecting 6 counties and cities, 20 townships and towns, with a total mileage of about 305 kilometers, of which the line with G108 is about 175 kilometers long. The population is about 3 million. Because the road cannot adapt to the development of the city, various safety hazards such as traffic congestion have been formed. This re-route can well strip G345 from G108, form a freight detour line through the Hanzhong Plain, and at the same time promote the transportation of the area south of the Han River. economic development.

Project Overview

The total length of the route change in the Hanzhong Basin is about 110.6km, with the Mianxian section 38.04km, the Nanzheng section 37.01km, the Chenggu section 21.67km, and the Yangxian section 13.88km. The whole line adopts the construction of the first-class highway standard, the roadbed width is 25.5km, and the set speed is 80km/h. The main structure of this project is an interchange. A tunnel with a length of 1260km, 6 separate intersections, 64 bridges, a total of 12226m, and land acquisition of 8228 mu for the whole line. The pavement adopts asphalt concrete pavement. The estimated construction and installation cost of the whole line is 8.174 billion yuan, and the total investment is 10.939 billion yuan.  Editor/Zhao E
