Recently, the Linhai Qingling to Wenling Daxiling section of the Yongtaiwen Expressway reconstruction and expansion project was officially approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission. It is understood that this is another section of the Yongtaiwen Expressway expansion and reconstruction project approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, following the section from Sanmen Maaoling to Linhai Qingling in the past half month. So far, the Yongtaiwen Expressway has been reconstructed and expanded The entire Taizhou section of the project was approved.

The Ningbo-Taiwan-Wenzhou Expressway is an important part of the G15 Shenhai Expressway, as well as the major traffic artery and economic link in the eastern part of Zhejiang Province, and occupies an important position in the national and regional road network. Since its completion and opening to traffic, the traffic flow has continued to grow rapidly. In recent years, the problem of congestion has become increasingly prominent, and it is imminent to implement road reconstruction and expansion. After the completion of the reconstruction and expansion project, it will greatly ease the current road traffic pressure, improve the traffic capacity and service level of the national expressway, and enhance the collection and distribution capacity of coastal ports in eastern Zhejiang.

At the same time, the project is an important part of the vertical (Z2) connecting the three places of Yongtai and Wenzhou in the planning of nine verticals, nine horizontals, five rings and five channels in Zhejiang Province's expressway network. Taizhou Section of Yongtaiwen Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Project

According to reports, the starting point of the project from Linhai Qingling to Wenling Daxiling is located in Yanjiang Town, Linhai City. In Linhai City, Huangyan District and Wenling City, the two hubs of Shuiyang and Daxi were renovated and used to connect Taijin Expressway and Wenling connecting line respectively; the original site was renovated to connect with 3 places in Linhai, Taizhou and Wenling West; newly added in Gaoqiao Street, Huangyan District Nancheng Interconnection; relocation and reconstruction of the existing Taizhou South Interconnection, which is co-located with the newly added service area. The project end point is located in Daxi Town, Wenling City, and is connected to the Wenzhou Section of the Yongtaiwen Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Project in the Daxiling-Huwuling Tunnel . The total length of the project route is about 40.2 kilometers, and the overall two-way eight-lane expressway standard is adopted, with a design speed of 100 km/h; among which, the service section from Huangtuling Tunnel to Yuanqiao is about 20.3 kilometers, and the design speed is 120 km/h.

This section of expressway reconstruction and expansion project has conducted in-depth research on the partition effect of the existing Yongtaiwen Expressway on Taizhou urban area, fully meets the needs of local urban development, built a new viaduct of about 14.7 kilometers, and will use the space under the bridge to build urban trunk roads.
