On May 8, 2024, in Xinmiao Town, Linkong Economic Zone, the high-profile Ezhou Linkong International School project ushered in a grand opening ceremony. This high-end 12-year school built by Ezhou Simu Education Technology Co., Ltd. aims to become a model of "the best in Ezhou, first-class in Hubei, nationally renowned, and internationally connected", and at the same time integrates the development characteristics of the Airport Economic Zone. The project is located in the former Yingshan Middle School on Yansha Road, Linkong Economic Zone, with a total investment of 1.64 billion yuan, an area of 205.36 acres, and a total construction area of 166,995 square meters. The school plans to include 36 classes in the primary school, 30 classes in the junior high school, 30 classes in the high school and 8 classes in the high school international department, and is expected to accommodate about 5,200 students. The school has rich construction content, including comprehensive buildings, auditoriums, teaching buildings for each academic period, dormitory buildings, canteens, sports complexes, and underground garages. The underground garage can accommodate 768 vehicles.

According to the project plan, the campus building construction and teaching facilities and equipment will be fully completed and put into use by May 2025, ensuring the official opening of the school in the fall of 2025. By then, the school will introduce the educational concepts, school running experience and teaching and research teams of Hubei Huayi Boarding School and the First Affiliated Middle School of Central China Normal University to form an outstanding teaching team composed of special teachers, famous teachers, subject leaders and key teachers.
