Recently, China Energy Construction Engineering and the People's Government of Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province held a signing ceremony in Harbin City, announcing the joint promotion of biomass green methanol and green jet fuel integration project. With a total investment of about 20.8 billion yuan, the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of green methanol and green jet fuel, and support the construction of biomass pellet plants, centralized wind farms, photovoltaic power stations and other facilities to form a complete green energy industry chain.

The project will take the way of phased construction, the first phase of the project is expected to invest 10 billion yuan. The first phase of the project will achieve an annual output of 200,000 tons of green methanol and 100,000 tons of green jet fuel. The construction includes a green methanol synthesis plant, a green jet fuel synthesis plant, and a batch of biomass pellet plants that integrate distributed wind power. In addition, the project will also include a 760,000 kW centralized wind farm, a 100,000 kW photovoltaic power station, a hydrogen electrolysis station and corresponding auxiliary production facilities. These facilities can use 1.6 million tons of straw per year, is expected to achieve 2.4 million tons of carbon emissions, and promote 1,900 permanent employment. The annual output value of the first phase of the project is expected to reach 4.25 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue is more than 600 million yuan.

The total investment of the second phase is about 10.8 billion yuan, with an annual output of 800,000 tons of green methanol and green jet fuel. The construction content includes the expansion of a green jet fuel synthesis plant, a batch of biomass pellet plants integrating distributed wind power, centralized wind farms and photovoltaic power stations, a hydropower electrolysis hydrogen production station and corresponding auxiliary production facilities.

The successful signing of the green methanol and green jet fuel projects of CLP Engineering is a practical action for Shuangyashan to actively implement the important requirements of "accelerating the formation of new quality productivity" and "innovating the cooperation model of central and local areas and promoting the integrated development of central and local areas". In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project, Shuangyashan City will spare no effort to provide all-round support, fully guarantee the staffing and capital investment, mobilize the best quality resources, make the greatest efforts, and provide the best service to overcome the difficulties restricting the progress of the project.
