The new construction project of Hangyuan Road in Hangtou Town, southwest of Shanghai Pudong New Area, was officially launched recently. The project is 1.57 kilometers long and 24 meters wide, marking another important milestone in the infrastructure construction of Hangtou Town. At present, the project site is busy, and construction workers are carrying out preparatory work such as the introduction of measurement control points and road survey and stakeout in an intense and orderly manner to ensure the smooth progress of the project.

The construction scope of Hangyuan Road is wide, starting from Hangmei Road in the west to Hunan Highway in the east. It not only involves the road project itself, but also includes bridge projects, rainwater and sewage drainage pipe projects, river projects, and road ancillary facilities such as greening lighting and traffic signs and markings. . This comprehensive project will greatly enhance Hangtou Town’s transportation network and improve municipal facilities.

As an urban branch road, the design speed of Hangyuan Road is 30 kilometers per hour, which will effectively alleviate the surrounding traffic pressure and improve residents’ travel efficiency. It is reported that the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2025, and will become an important channel connecting the east and west of Hangtou Town.

It is worth mentioning that there are many residential communities under construction and already built on both sides of Hangyuan Road, and they are conveniently connected to the entrance and exit of Metro Line 18 and Yealink Global Building Materials and Home Furnishing.
