Recently, the renovation and construction project of the drainage network in the northern area of Yufeng District and the flood control project on Liuchang Road in Liubei District, which were undertaken by the Urban Investment Company of Liuzhou City Construction Group, have started smoothly.

In order to solve the problems of waterlogging in the Yufeng District Sports Park and drainage in the surrounding areas of Shewan Road, the renovation and construction project of the drainage pipe network in the northern area of Yufeng District has built a new rainwater pump station and supporting rainwater and sewage pipe network in the southeast corner of the Yufeng District Sports Park. The rainwater around Shewan Road is discharged into the downstream smelting main channel through gravity flow through the newly built rainwater pipeline, and the rainwater in the Yufeng District Sports Park is discharged into the downstream smelting main channel through pumping. The total length of the project is 2528 meters.

The Liuchang Road waterlogging control project in Liubei District plans to update and renovate the existing rainwater pipe network in the section where the section of Liuchang Road is insufficient and causes rainwater accumulation during rainy days. The total length of the designed pipeline is about 1797 meters, and the construction site is specifically on the east side of the road from Haichuan Home Expo Center to the North Outer Ring Road; From the north of the railway (Xianggui Line) to the west side of the road in Changtang Village Committee.

In recent years, some urban pipe networks in Liuzhou have become increasingly outdated and unable to meet the needs of urban development and construction. With the construction of two projects, the drainage capacity and waterlogging problems in related areas are expected to be improved.

After the completion of the two projects, it will greatly alleviate the long-term problem of rainy season waterlogging on Liuchang Road in Liubei District, Shewan Road in Yufeng District and their surrounding areas, significantly improve the regional flood control and drainage standards, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
