In early October, a batch of energy storage prefabricated cabins with a total capacity of 340 MWh from Cornex  Energy were officially sent to Honduras, marking an important breakthrough for Chinese new energy companies in the Central American energy storage market. It is reported that this batch of products is the CORNEX M5 20 foot 5MWh battery prefabricated cabin independently developed by Cornell New Energy, which will serve the construction of Honduras' power infrastructure and is a national strategic key project in Honduras. After the project is put into operation, it will significantly improve the stability of the local power grid and the ability to absorb green electricity, which has a positive demonstration significance for regional energy transformation.

In recent years, Cornex has continued to make efforts in overseas markets, establishing a comprehensive sales and service network in Europe, Australia, South America, Asia Pacific and other regions, and establishing stable cooperative relationships with multiple internationally renowned enterprises. As of now, Cornex's overseas order volume has accumulated nearly 50 GWh, demonstrating strong international development momentum.

As early as the first half of 2023, Cornex established the research and development goal of a high-performance, high safety, and low-cost 5MWh liquid cooled battery prefabricated cabin, achieving the industry's first mass production in early 2024 and delivering it to the grid that year. The product is equipped with 314Ah special battery for energy storage, with an energy density of 180Wh/kg and a cycle life of more than 12000 times. In terms of production capacity, Cornex has formed three major bases in Xiaogan, Wuhan, and Yichang with an effective production capacity of over 110GWh. In September 2025, the second phase of the 80GWh lithium battery project at Yichang Base officially started construction, and the Xiangyang Lithium Battery Industrial Park with a planned annual production capacity of 70GWh has also completed the signing and is about to start construction, providing strong delivery guarantees for its market expansion.
