The winning bid for the construction of Changsha Olympic Sports Center has been announced, with an investment of 6.7 billion yuan creating a new landmark for the city. Recently, the highly anticipated construction project of Changsha Olympic Sports Center has completed the construction bidding, and the winning bidders for each section have been officially announced. The project is located in Tianxin District, Changsha City, with a specific scope from Qiangti Road in the north, Feiyun Road in the south, Xiangjiang Avenue in the west, and Olympic Sports Avenue in the east. The total planned land area is about 1000 acres, and the total construction area is about 541700 square meters. The preliminary design estimate for the project has a total investment of approximately 6.747 billion yuan, of which the engineering cost is approximately 5.588 billion yuan. The construction will include approximately 65000 main sports venues, approximately 18000 comprehensive sports halls, approximately 4000 diving and swimming pools, as well as supporting facilities such as media centers, supporting buildings, equipment rooms, and parking lots.

The project adopts prefabricated construction method, and the assembly rate of each section of the building is not less than 50%. Among them, the first section mainly constructs about 65000 sports stadium clusters and surrounding elevated platforms, supporting service buildings, etc., with a total construction area of about 291000 square meters, a maximum cantilever span of 70 meters, a highest point of 58.15 meters, and an estimated project cost of about 3.388 billion yuan. The bid for this section was ultimately won by China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (the leading party) in collaboration with China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and Hunan Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 277643768395 yuan.

The second section focuses on the construction of approximately 18000 sports venues and approximately 4000 swimming and diving pools and their surrounding platforms, with a total construction area of approximately 142600 square meters, a maximum span of 113 meters, and a maximum building height of 43.65 meters. The estimated project cost is approximately 1.403 billion yuan. This section was awarded to Hunan Sixth Engineering Co., Ltd. (the leading party) in collaboration with China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. and China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau Third Construction Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 113351264959 yuan.

The third section covers the media center, supporting service buildings on the northwest side, and some basements in the northern area, with a total construction area of 108200 square meters. The maximum span of the concrete structure is 19.4 meters, the maximum span of the roof structure is 41.2 meters, and the highest building is 34.55 meters. The estimated project cost is about 718 million yuan. The bid for this section was successfully won by China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd. (the leading party) and Hunan Stoping Energy saving Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 503.26856724 million yuan.
