Recently, Zhengzhou Huiji District Urban Renewal Construction and Development Co., Ltd. officially launched the general contracting bidding for the Changxing area urban renewal project. The total investment of the project is about 10.759 billion yuan (approximately 10.759 billion yuan), and the section is clearly divided into one section. The planned total construction period is 18 years, including 8 years of construction and 10 years of operation.

As a key municipal project covering the entire Huiji District, the project focuses on the renewal of the Changxing area, focusing on the renovation of old neighborhoods, old factory areas, and urban villages, while simultaneously promoting the upgrading of urban infrastructure, the improvement of functional supporting facilities, and the restoration of ecosystems. The bidding scope covers the entire chain of engineering survey and design, construction procurement, and operation management, including survey and design, construction and installation, equipment procurement and commissioning, project operation and industrial introduction investment, construction and approval, and all other contents.

This bidding is open to market entities with comprehensive strength, aiming to systematically improve the living environment and urban carrying capacity of the area through specialized construction and operation, radiate and drive the high-quality development of Huiji District, and create a "fully functional, ecologically livable, and industrially coordinated" urban renewal demonstration benchmark for the northern urban area of Zhengzhou.

The comprehensive implementation of the project will establish an integrated development model of "construction operation industry introduction". Through a systematic renovation period of 8 years, the original urban appearance of Changxing area will be completely changed: old blocks will be rejuvenated, old factory areas will be transformed into industries, urban villages will complete the iteration of living environment, and the infrastructure network such as transportation network and public service facilities will be improved. The urban ecological corridor will be restored to create a green and low-carbon urban space.

During the 10-year operation period, the project will focus on industrial cultivation and continuous empowerment, with a focus on introducing adaptive industries such as modern service industry, cultural creativity, and smart community services. Leveraging the resource agglomeration effect formed by the renewal of the area, it will build an industrial collaborative development platform and promote the optimization and upgrading of regional economic structure. In addition, the project will ensure the long-term operation of infrastructure through specialized operation and maintenance, improve the quality of public service supply, and achieve the core goal of "building for the people and operating for the benefit of the people".
