Over the past 76 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, regardless of how the international situation has changed, China-Finland relations have always developed steadily, adhering to mutual respect, equal treatment, facing the future, and achieving win-win cooperation. Both the Chinese and Finnish people possess the spirit of perseverance and self-improvement. Both sides should enhance mutual trust, strengthen exchanges, deepen cooperation, promote the development of their respective countries, and bring more benefits to the people of both nations.  

This year marks the beginning of China's 14th Five-Year Plan. China will continue to promote high-quality development and expand high-level opening-up. Both sides should deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and create more cooperation achievements in areas such as energy transformation, circular economy, agriculture and forestry, and scientific and technological innovation. Finnish enterprises are welcome to "swim freely" in the vast "sea" of the Chinese market to enhance their global competitiveness. Finland is a strong country in ice and snow sports, and China has also become a major player in this field. Both sides should strengthen exchanges and cooperation to continue the ice and snow friendship. More Finnish people are welcome to visit China to experience its ancient and modern culture.  

China is willing to work with Finland to firmly uphold the international system with the United Nations at its core and the international order based on international law, jointly address global challenges, and promote equal and orderly world multipolarization and inclusive economic globalization. China and Europe are partners, not rivals, and their cooperation outweighs competition, and consensus outweighs differences. It is hoped that Finland will play a constructive role in promoting the healthy and stable development of China-Europe relations.

Last year, both sides jointly celebrated the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Finnish enterprises have a strong interest in cooperation with China. Finland is willing to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state with China, maintain close high-level exchanges, deepen pragmatic cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, digital economy, clean energy, and agriculture, and enhance the well-being of the two peoples. Finland firmly adheres to the one-China policy. Finland admires China's outstanding achievements in development and appreciates China's important and constructive role in international affairs. It is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with China to jointly safeguard world peace and stability. It is very important for EU-China relations to maintain constructive development.
