On April 15, 2026, Ling Ji, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations, held talks with Kudlatov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, in Tashkent, and co chaired the 9th meeting of the China Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Cooperation Subcommittee with Deputy Minister Kasimov.

Ling Ji stated that under the strategic guidance of the heads of state of China and Ukraine, bilateral economic and trade relations have continued to develop healthily, bilateral trade has grown rapidly, and cooperation in the production and supply chain has steadily developed. Both sides will optimize the trade structure and cultivate new formats such as cross-border e-commerce and digital trade; Make good use of various investment and financing platforms, deepen cooperation in areas such as green mineral resources, infrastructure construction, and economic and trade parks; Promote the liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment between China and Central Asia, and promote high-quality development of regional economic cooperation. China firmly supports Uzbekistan's accession to the World Trade Organization.

The Ukrainian side stated that China is Ukraine's largest trading partner and source of foreign investment, and economic and trade cooperation with China is of great significance in promoting Ukraine's modernization process and improving people's livelihoods. We are willing to further strengthen cooperation with China in areas such as photovoltaic power generation, automobile assembly, information and communication, digital economy, deepen exchanges between financial institutions, strengthen local economic and trade exchanges, and create a favorable business environment for Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Ukraine.
