Recently, China Railway Fourth Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has received good news of winning bids in the two major regional markets of East China and Central China. It has successfully won the bid for the 26th section of the Tieshan Road parking lot of Shanghai Metro Line 19 and the ZTXZQ-4 section of the newly built Wuhan hub through line and related projects in front of the station, with a total bid amount of approximately 4.4 billion yuan. The smooth implementation of these two projects fully demonstrates the strong strength and core competitiveness of this old leading construction enterprise in the field of rail transit and railway construction.

Project Overview
The Shanghai Metro Line 19 is known as a highly valuable north-south transportation artery in the Shanghai subway network, and is a radial urban line that runs through the central activity area of the city center. The line starts from Hongjian Road Station and ends at Baoshan Station, with a total length of about 46.2 kilometers and 34 stations. The line adopts subway A-type trains, running in 6-car formations with a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour. After completion, it will become an indispensable and important backbone line in Shanghai's rail transit network.
The parking lot on Tieshan Road, which won the bid this time, is located on a plot of land east of Jiangyang North Road and the Nanhe Branch Line of the railway, south of Baoyang Road, and west of Tieshan Road, connecting with Langang Road Station, with a land area of approximately 16.65 hectares. As a key component of the "one section, two fields" layout of Line 19 (Chengjiang Road Depot, Tieshan Road Parking Lot, Yueyang Parking Lot), Tieshan Road Parking Lot mainly undertakes important functions such as train parking, maintenance, and preparation, and can be regarded as the "logistics guarantee base" for the safe and efficient operation of Line 19.

It is worth noting that the Tieshan Road parking lot adopts a comprehensive development integration design, synchronously reserving corresponding development conditions, which will achieve the organic integration of rail transit facilities and urban development, truly practicing the comprehensive development and utilization mode of "subway above", and allowing the spatial resources of Shanghai, a city of land and money, to play a greater value.
Scope of Work
The 26th section of this bidding covers all civil construction contents within the parking lot area of Tieshan Road, including building structures, municipal engineering, development cover plates and ancillary ramps, underground parking garages, etc. The open cut section of the entrance and exit line (including shield shafts), the substation above the top plate of the tunnel, and the environmental control room are all included in the scope of this section of the project.
The main structure of the open cut section of the entrance and exit line includes a shield tunnel working well, which extends and connects the underground single-layer double hole reinforced concrete box structure buried section and the U-shaped groove reinforced concrete slab wall structure open section. The total length of the main structure is 372 meters. These seemingly "hidden" projects are crucial "throat parts" for the safe entry and exit of future trains in parking lots, with extremely high requirements for construction accuracy.
The contract price for Section 26 of the Tieshan Road Parking Lot of Shanghai Metro Line 19 is approximately 1.972 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, the Tieshan Road Parking Lot will provide reliable vehicle parking and maintenance support for Shanghai Metro Line 19, further improving the overall operational efficiency and service quality of the Shanghai subway network.

Project Overview
The construction of the Wuhan hub through line project is a core component of the "four main and two auxiliary" layout of the Wuhan railway hub, with the important mission of dredging hub traffic and improving the overall efficiency of the road network. The project has a huge scale, covering the main line project from Yunmeng East to Nanhu East Station, with a total length of 90.419 kilometers, including 79.021 kilometers of newly built main line; The reserved southern extension conditions for the Huangjiahu line will be implemented simultaneously, with a project length of 0.882 kilometers; Reconstruction of the Wujiashan Freight Car Connection Line with a single track length of 0.852 kilometers; The total length of reconstructed Yuhua connecting line is 1.86 single track kilometers; In addition, it also includes the construction of the Hanyang high-speed train station and the dynamic track engineering.
After the completion of the Wuhan Hub Direct Line, it will achieve seamless connection between various mainline railways of the Wuhan Railway Hub, as if opening up the "Ren Du Er Mai" for the Wuhan railway network, greatly improving the hub's traffic capacity and scheduling flexibility. The ZTXZQ-4 section in front of the station that won the bid this time has a starting and ending mileage from the main line DK16+129.28 to DK31+172.267, as well as the reconstruction of the Wujiashan freight car connection line GHYDK0+150 to GHYDK1+002.196. The main engineering content includes the entire track laying project (excluding the ballast laying of section DK3+223.098-DK7+034.743 of Baishazhou Public Railway Bridge), ballast laying in ballasted sections, the super major bridges in the northern throat area of Hanyang Station, Shihu super major bridge, Caijiatai Hanjiang super major bridge, as well as the reconstruction of the roadbed of Wujiashan freight car interconnection line, supporting production houses and production ancillary houses.
Among them, the Caijiatai Hanjiang Grand Bridge is a key control project of this section. The bridge spans the Han River, with high construction difficulty and technical standards, making it one of the "most difficult bones" to crack in the construction of the entire line. China Railway Fourth Bureau's successful bid for this section fully reflects its profound technical accumulation and strong strength in the field of cross river bridge construction.

The winning bid for the ZTXZQ-4 section of the newly-built Wuhan hub through line and related projects is approximately 2.422 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it will significantly enhance the transportation capacity of the Wuhan railway hub, optimize the division of labor and cooperation among various lines within the hub, and provide more solid railway logistics support for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The total bid amount for the two projects is about 4.4 billion yuan, covering two major professional fields: civil engineering of rail transit parking lots and railway hub station engineering. China Railway Fourth Bureau has won the "double bid" this time, which not only consolidates its leading position in the traditional railway construction market, but also further expands its layout in the urban rail transit market, laying a solid foundation for undertaking more similar key projects in the future.Editor/Gong Ziwei
