From May 8th to 11th local time, Lei Jun, Chairman of China Railway 14th Bureau, and his delegation went to Kazakhstan to carry out business activities and research projects, supervising the construction and operation of regional national companies. Wang Hongwei, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company, participated in the event.

Lei Jun successively visited Zhou Haiwei, Chairman of China Railway Asia Europe Group, Ayibek, President of Kazakhstan Railway Construction Group, and Gani Tazhiev, Chairman of Astana Public Transport Center, to deepen exchanges on project cooperation and market expansion, further consolidating the foundation of cooperation and consolidating development consensus.

At the Astana light rail project site, Lei Jun conducted on-site inspections of the vehicle depot command center and station machine room, and took a test ride on the 102-109 section light rail train to gain a detailed understanding of the construction progress, safety and quality, operation scheduling, and local support. He fully affirmed the effectiveness of the project construction. He emphasized that the first phase of the light rail is about to open for operation, and we must strictly adhere to the bottom line of safety and quality, refine the joint debugging and testing, operation preparation and emergency support, and ensure the smooth operation on schedule.

During this period, Lei Jun paid condolences to front-line employees and distributed condolences to encourage them to strive for excellence, create high-quality products, and spare no effort to build the landmark demonstration project of the "the Belt and Road" jointly built by China and Kazakhstan.

At the Central Asia Regional Country Research Symposium, Lei Jun listened to the work report and emphasized that regional country companies are the cornerstone of the group's deep cultivation overseas and the key pivot to achieve "integrated management". He hoped that the Central Asia company would firmly shoulder its mission, bravely shoulder heavy responsibilities, and continue to work together in the four major areas of market development, project control, talent construction, and brand building, making greater contributions to the group's high-quality development overseas.

Regarding the next steps of work, Lei Jun requires: firstly, to elevate our political stance, actively integrate into the overall development of China Kazakhstan cooperation, and seize development opportunities. Secondly, we need to optimize our market layout, focus on major project contracting, and continue to deepen our cultivation and expansion in the Central Asian market. We must strictly adhere to the safety and quality red line, and regularly consolidate the foundation of project construction safety and quality. We must deepen refined management and comprehensively improve the quality and efficiency of project operation management. We must strengthen the professional talent team, increase the cultivation of business, legal, tax, and composite talents, provide humanistic care, and build a high-quality overseas team. We must adhere to the bottom line of compliant operation, cultivate a strong cultural foundation, deeply promote territorial integration and development, and make every effort to promote the strengthening, optimization, and expansion of enterprises in Central Asian countries.keywords:Infrastructure News
