In early summer, Hangzhou welcomed a group of European guests who came from afar. On May 17, 2026, a delegation led by Peter Jokic, Minister of Energy and Mining of the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina, came specifically to Kesheng Technology in Hangzhou. This trip is not a simple courtesy visit, but a practical examination of Europe's energy transition, to explore the answer to a "light" from the East - solar thermal power generation and molten salt energy storage technology.

Viewing China's History from the Exhibition Hall

Accompanied by Li Wei, Vice President of Kesheng Technology, Minister Qiao Jiqi and his delegation walked into the company's Future Energy Experience Center. In the exhibition hall, the development trajectory of China's solar thermal power generation industry from scratch, from technological catch-up to large-scale application, is clearly presented. The delegation members stopped in front of each project model and achievement display, systematically understanding how this technology has taken root in China, especially its unique advantages in long-term energy storage and stable power supply. Kesheng Technology provided a detailed introduction to the company's technological breakthroughs and practical experience in the fields of solar thermal and molten salt energy storage, laying the foundation for further in-depth dialogue.

Three major application directions

The subsequent discussion and exchange quickly delved into practical topics. The core of the discussion between the two sides focuses on how solar thermal and molten salt energy storage technologies can find their place in the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The communication focuses on three key application directions: firstly, upgrading and transforming the flexibility of existing thermal power units to enhance the power grid regulation capability; The second is to provide clean and stable thermal energy supply for high energy consuming industries, replacing traditional fossil fuels; The third is to directly assist the steel, chemical and other industrial sectors in achieving deep carbon reduction. These directions directly point to the dual challenges of insufficient regulatory capacity and high emission reduction pressure faced by the current energy system in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe. The technical team analyzed the feasibility of technology implementation in different scenarios one by one and explored potential cooperation spaces in depth.

Technology meets the needs of transformation

Minister Peter Jokic pointed out in the exchange that the energy transition in Europe is accelerating, and the demand for improving the flexibility of the power system and reducing industrial carbon emissions in the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina is very urgent. He believes that the solar thermal power generation and molten salt energy storage technologies demonstrated by Kesheng Technology have broad prospects in long-term energy storage, clean heating, and promoting the transformation of traditional energy systems. He highly recognized China's achievements in this field and its competitive technological solutions, believing that they are highly in line with the energy upgrade plan of the region, and not only have practical value, but also have important reference significance. He clearly expressed his willingness to deepen communication and explore opportunities for cooperation.

During this visit, Boyan Jokic, Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Mining of the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alexandra Chivkovic, Director of the Office, Nina Lusic, Head of HD Razvoj d.o.o., a local enterprise, as well as relevant officials from the Bosnia and Herzegovina Representative Office of the China European Economic and Technical Cooperation Association and the Spanish company of China National Building Materials International Engineering Group, participated together. Personnel from Kesheng Technology R&D Center and Overseas Business Department attended the reception.keywords:New energy information network,New energy latest reports

The visit ended in a lively discussion, which not only enhanced mutual understanding between the two sides in the field of clean energy, but also laid a solid foundation for potential cooperation in energy infrastructure upgrading, industrial carbon reduction, and specific applications of energy storage technology in the future. Kesheng Technology stated that it will continue to rely on its independently controllable, mature and reliable integrated solution for solar thermal energy storage in China, actively participate in global clean energy cooperation, and help more countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, achieve their green and low-carbon energy transformation goals.Editor/Yang Meiling
