On May 22, 2026, the preliminary list of the second batch of key cultivation pilot platforms by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was announced. The pilot platforms applied by two units within the State Grid Corporation of China system were selected, namely the special robot equipment pilot platform applied by State Grid Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and the energy and power safety emergency and protection equipment pilot platform applied by Zhejiang Huadian Equipment Testing and Research Institute Co., Ltd.

Special Robot Equipment Pilot Platform

This platform has comprehensive functions such as technology research and development conversion, trial production and process improvement, performance testing, etc. It plays an important role in the research and promotion of core equipment such as substation inspection robots, electric water flushing robots, fire fighting robots, and comprehensive pipe gallery inspection robots. The platform focuses on the direction of intelligent and scenario based development, and deeply supports the industrial application of robot equipment technology achievements in transmission, transformation, distribution, and emergency repair scenarios by connecting innovation chains, technology chains, and industry chains.

Energy and Power Security Emergency and Protective Equipment Pilot Platform

This platform focuses on the technical verification of homework safety protection and emergency rescue equipment. It relies on the National Electric Power Equipment Product Safety Performance Quality Inspection and Testing Center, gathers resources from multiple provincial and ministerial key laboratories, and has formed a testing capability system consisting of 5 specialized pilot lines and 15 specialized laboratories.
