The Yellow River runs through the north of Jinan.For a long time, the Yellow River graben restricts the north-south interconnection and regional development of the city. With the successful completion of the excavation operation and the accurate arrival of the receiving position of the super-large diameter shield machine, this highly concerned Yellow River-crossing tunnel has been officially connected by two lines. The problem of cross-river commuting that plagues the people on both sides of the river has ushered in a new solution, and urban development has ushered in new opportunities. 

Core project landing 

The run-through Hangtian Avenue Tunnel through the Yellow River is the core project of the strategic layout of the four bridges and four tunnels in Jinan. It is positioned as the main road of the city. It adopts the construction standard of two-way six-lane, and the design speed is 60 kilometers per hour. The total length of the north line shield tunnel is 3245 meters, and the construction process is equipped with a super-large diameter slurry balance shield equipment with a excavation diameter of 15.07 meters. As a key transportation infrastructure project in the city, the construction standard is high and the construction scale is large. It is the key carrier to improve the urban cross-river traffic system and build a solid hardware foundation for regional traffic upgrading.

The project team accurately implemented the measures, through fine control of incision pressure, encryption of pavement settlement monitoring frequency, combined with synchronous double liquid grouting, radial secondary reinforcement grouting complete construction technology. At the same time, the equipment structure is optimized, the layered design of cutterhead and cutter and the configuration of circulation system are improved, and all kinds of construction pain points are overcome one by one.
