On July 1, 2026, a container train loaded with daily necessities and chemicals departed from Tianjin International Land Port and headed all the way to Tacheng, Xinjiang. It then turned to the highway and left through the Baktu Port before finally arriving in Almaty and Astana, Kazakhstan. This brand new "railway+highway" cross-border multimodal transport route has been officially launched, adding an efficient logistics channel from Tianjin to Central Asia.

This railway public intermodal transportation model deeply connects long-distance and high-capacity railway trunk transportation with flexible door-to-door distribution at the end of the road, eliminating the need to wait for long whole train schedules for cargo collection.
