On July 6, 2026, the International Organization of the World Internet Conference held a press conference in Beijing, China, to introduce the basic situation, overall preparation progress and characteristics of the Digital Silk Road Development Forum of the 2026 World Internet Conference.

The 2026 World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Development Forum, hosted by the World Internet Conference and hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, will be held in Xi'an, China, from July 21 to 22. The theme of this forum is "Wisdom Gathering Silk Road Data to Start a New Journey - Jointly Building a Community of Shared Future in Cyberspace".
