The wave of local new energy construction continues to surge, and two large photovoltaic power stations in Algeria have received core equipment deliveries. The centralized inverters delivered by Shangneng Electric will support the smooth progress of the total installed capacity of 154 MW project. This North African land is fully committed to the 2035 photovoltaic development plan. China's new energy equipment, with its excellent resistance to high temperatures and sandstorms, continues to seize market share along the route, bringing stable clean electricity and a large number of employment opportunities to the region. It also steadily enhances the competitiveness of domestic photovoltaic equipment going global.

Photovoltaic project landing

Two photovoltaic power stations are developed and operated by local enterprises, belonging to the renewable energy sector of the local energy group. The project uses N-type TOPCon double-sided components, paired with two different specifications of medium voltage integrated equipment, to optimize the power generation level of the power station and ensure long-term stable operation of the system. The device is adapted to the harsh natural conditions of the local area and has multiple intelligent functions to adapt to the weak electrical network environment in the region.

Assist local transformation

Algeria has set a 15 year photovoltaic expansion target, planning to add 15GW of solar energy installed capacity to reduce fossil energy consumption. After the project is put into operation, it will produce an average of 340 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity annually, with emission reduction effects equivalent to planting 25.5 million trees. During the construction phase, it will provide 1500 local jobs and comprehensively promote the development of regional green industries. Expanding the overseas territory, global demand for new energy is increasing, and the domestic photovoltaic industry is shifting from exporting single products to exporting complete solutions. This cooperation is a key project for the enterprise to deepen its cultivation in North Africa and improve its overseas ground power plant business layout. The demand for energy infrastructure in North Africa continues to release, and domestic new energy equipment will usher in more opportunities for cooperation.Editor/Min Jing
